Why should I become a Ffynnon Member?

Through membership you are joining and supporting the goals of a community dedicated to fulfillIng the mission of Ffynnon; to provide a sanctuary where Art, Spirit and Nature meet.

Membership in the Ffynnon community is foundational. Your support, dedication, and participation become a part of the framework that creates and sustains the soul of Ffynnon - a beautiful, forested, private retreat center, where community comes together to connect, create art, inspire and educate each other, all while enjoying and preserving the harmony of nature.

Ffynnon is a tax-exempt, non-profit religious organization incorporated in the state of Oregon. Your sustaining membership is tax-deductible! Any goods or services as provided by your membership level are deducted from your contribution and an adjusted receipt will be provided at the end of each year.

Membership support not only helps purchase the tools and raw materials needed to physically build Ffynnon, it also helps create the spirit and personality of our woodland retreat; ensuring a place for all to enjoy for many, many years to come!

What can I do at Ffynnon?

Member Days - Come to the woods the first weekend of each month, to picnic in the Ffynnon meadows, walk the trails, watch wildlife, and deeply relax in the shelter of her forests.

Attend a Gathering - These gatherings vary, but often include musical or theatrical performances, community rituals and workshops, yoga, art and crafts and exhibits, workshops on foraging or other forest skills. Look for our Public Gatherings on the Events page and become a member today to access our Members Calendar.

Build and Create - Members have the unique opportunity to help build Ffynnon from the ground up, both physically and spiritually. It may seem a paradox, but maintaining a natural space takes a lot of hard work! All members are welcome for work party weekends, occasional events throughout the year where volunteers get down and dirty on one or two specific projects of importance to members.

Steward of the Trees

$12 per year/per person

The Steward of the Trees is our basic Membership class for all folks who want to attend Member Days and Ffynnon Events throughout the year. Maintaining a Steward of the Trees Membership supports and affirms a commitment to the community and our Mission.

A Steward of the Trees membership includes:

• Added to the Friends of Ffynnon Roster and Member Calendar
• Eligible to attend Member Days and all Ffynnon sponsored Gatherings
• 1 week early invite to register for Ffynnon sponsored Gatherings
• The warm fuzzy reward of helping and belonging to a community that shares a common respect for Art, Spirit, and Nature

Warden of the Woods

$25 per month/per person or $285 per year/per person

Wardens are our most vital supporters, helping drive and shape Ffynnon throughout each Season. Come join us as a Warden and be directly involved with the land and your community.

Monthly Warden of the Woods membership includes everything listed for Stewards and these added benefits:

• Can bring 1 guest to a Member Day
• 2 week early invite and 20% discount to register for Ffynnon sponsored Gatherings
• No vendor fee at Ffynnon sponsored Gatherings
• Ffynnon T-shirt (TBD in the next few months. All current Wardens and above will get one!)
• Lead a free/donation only workshop(s) at Member Days and Ffynnon sponsored Gatherings (must be approved by Board via submission process)

Elder of the Land

$100 per month/per person or $1100 per year/per person

Elders are honored members who deeply believe in Ffynnon and its Mission. As an Elder, you'll enjoy our highest level of benefits. 

An Elder of the Land membership includes everything listed for Steward and Warden, plus:

Founding Elder

Become a Founder and help fast-track Ffynnon's vision into reality. Founders are Elders "for life", lifetime membership in Ffynnon for a one time payment of $5000.

A Founding Elder membership includes all the same perks as an Elder of the Land, plus:

• Plant 3 Trees
• 2 Golden Tickets given to the fund/year
• Founding Elders (+2 guests) attend all Ffynnon sponsored Gatherings for FREE (must register)
• Reserved camping/RV site at Ffynnon events + early entry
